Title: Field-induced phases of the J1-J2 Heisenberg model on the triangular lattice

Abstract:

The antiferromagnetic triangular lattice is a prototype of model of frustrated systems. In the past years, the Heisenberg model with competing first and second nearest-neighbors interactions has attracted attention due to the probable presence of a spin liquid phase in zero field. Motivated by recent experimental and semi-classical results, we discuss the phase diagram in a magnetic field based on symmetry analysis of exact diagonalization spectra. In particular, we find the appearence of a m=1/2 plateau as well as a chiral non-coplanar phase.
